Interactive widgets are forms your agent can display directly in a conversation. Use a template to book demos or capture leads, or build a form from scratch.
Create a widget
- Open Widgets and select Create widgets.
- Choose Book a demo, Connect leads, or Build your own widget.
- Set the heading, supporting text, submit-button label, and fields.
- Drag fields into the order visitors should see them. The reorder controls are also keyboard accessible.
- Preview and save. Saved forms appear under My widgets, where you can edit or delete them.
Fields and validation
- Available field types are short text, email, long text, number, dropdown, and checkbox.
- Each field can be required or optional. Text fields can include placeholder text, and dropdowns can contain custom options.
- Every field needs a type before the widget can be saved.
Run an action after submission
Use Connected Action in the builder to choose what happens after submission. Map widget fields to action inputs and resolve required-field warnings before saving.
A connected action can create or update data in another service. Test with non-sensitive sample data first.
Let the agent show the form
Describe in the agent instructions when the widget should be offered—for example, after a visitor asks for a demo. Keep the trigger specific and test the conversation in Playground before publishing.
